People who make scenes at self-checkout should not be allowed to shop. We can add this entitled Karen to the long-running list of contenders for Karen Of All Karens.
This thread was posted on Reddit's r/TalesFromRetail subreddit by u/soccereler, who opened up about a bad interaction with this customer at the self-checkout station. It was a classic case of not knowing how coupons work and trying to use a coupon for the wrong brand. What's remarkable to us is the immediate hostility she projected after the Redditor asked if they could help her. The fact that she snapped back with "no, I'm stupid" says a few things: 1) this woman is awful; 2) this woman is iconic; 3) this woman does not understand how to get someone to want to help you.
As we know, Karens are a rare breed that can come in all shapes and sizes and can show up to make a scene just about anywhere. For instance, this Karen was removed from a store after using a slur.
